Christmas Day!

So on Christmas Eve we went to Dustin's Aunt Jackies house for Chirstmas Eve. Sadly I had to work, but my friend was nice enough to work until 9 for me so that I could still celebrate with the family. We had a good time. Sadly I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I assure you, we had lots of fun opening presents!!

So the next morning when I got home from work, I got the kids stockings together and made them sippy cups full of hot coccoa before I woke everybody up. I went to take our first Christmas morning picture and what was this??? My camera would not focus. I was so depressed. I guess in the chaos of the night before, either I or someone must have knocked my camera around and damaged it. So, I got my old crappy camera out and took crappy pictures. I was so bummed. Olivia's favorite gift was a little light up necklace that was in her stocking and Noah loved his "Beeber" cars that were actually bubble bath. As we were opening presents, Noah told me all about making cookies with Daddy for Santa. I can't believe that Santa Bum didn't even save me one! The nerve. I hate that I missed it this year, but hopefully next year we can all make cookies together for Santa.

Grandmaw

So my mom came for a visit today and it was nice. She rarely comes, so it takes a while for the kids to warm back up to her. They had a good time.

After my mom left, we lost Pootie and when we finally found her, she was on the toliet! She didn't have her diaper off, but she actually went potty while on the potty!! I honestly think we're going to have her potty trained before Noah. He has reverted so much that he doesn't even tell us he needs to go. I sometimes wonder if daycare has something to do with that.

For a dear friend

So, my friend Anna had a little boy not long ago and I had originally started making a quilt, but it didn't quite turn out like I had planned so I scrapped it and never made anything. I couldn't let poor Judah go without a gift, so I made him one of my classic taggie blankets and embroidered his name on it. Anna loved it and so did Judah. I really enjoyed making these for her.

I also made some a while back and decided to give them to my other friend and coworker's daughter who just had a baby. Arent' these cute too? I previously posted instructions, so if you'll click here, you can learn how to make them too!

Christmas Card

So after the parade and we got our picture took by the paper, I realized that the picture was the only decent one I had of all of us, so I decided to use it for our christmas card this year. Notice how Dustin is holding Noah...he really has no sense of pose when it comes to picture taking. But oh well. :) My sister was supposed to take some pictures with my camera, but it's just hard to get together with our schedules. Anyhow, here's what I came up with using my Picnik software. Here's the original picture...

And now, here's the new picture with us closer together! Magic!

And here's the finished cards I came up with and sent to family! :)

Noah's First Play

So my sweet little Noah got picked to be Joseph in his play for daycare. I got to work making him an authentic Joseph looking costume. It wasn't that great, but hey, I tried. Noah had one line to say, "J is for Joseph". You see, all the kids had one line because it was related to the ABCs of Christmas. My poor baby got up there and got scared and wouldn't say anything. Thankfully his teacher and Dustin's cousin was there and came up behind him and held him and said "J is for Joseph". It was a very sweet thing to do. Since it was Dustin's birthday as well, we went out to eat after the play to celebrate. Dustin and I both could care less about our birthdays, but we at least go out to dinner. He turned 31 this year! What an old man! :)

Christmas Parade

So this year our town's Christmas Parade was in the afternoon instead of the morning, which actually worked out better for us, but I still had to go to work right after. No biggie tho. We had a good time. The kids really enjoyed watching the parade and of course, we all couldn't wait to see Santa!

I just love taking close up pictures of my babies! They have such beautiful eyes.

Tractors, 4-Wheelers, and a lawn mower on a vehicle. Yes, we are indeed in East Texas people! :)

Waiting for Santa..........and here he is!!!

Winter Scarves

So, I found this cute little scarf set for Livi that matches her little black and pink poofy jacket. Isnt she so adorable? I couldn't find any boy scarves, so I made one for Noah J out of "Beeber" material and red felt. He loved it. Although, you can't tell that from his pictures, lol. :)

Welcome Baby Elijah!!!

So my good friend Abigail had a beautiful baby boy named Elijah and I was lucky enough to be in the room for his birth.  I didn't know her sister (who is a photograper) was in the room too, so we both got pictures! Everything went really well.
I love this pic because Abby had to have a little O2 and so Jerry helped her hold it on. She was laughing while pushing too. Just kinda random.

Dr. Spencer was wonderful as always. She was admiring little Elijah for a moment.
