So, I took A&P Intro this summer because sadly, I ended up having to drop it during the Spring Semester becasue I was taking 16 hours and Algebra was kicking my butt. Something had to go or my mind was going to, lol. Anyhow, I managed to pull an 86 and because my lecture teacher had opened up an extra point quiz for me, I made her muffins to thank her. I also made my lab teacher some. Lab was great and over all I had a 96 average in there, so that was great.
To be honest, if I hadn't done good, I was going to reconsider nursing as my major. I guess I had gotten distraught and had really been upset about droping the class in the first place. But I did good and now I know I can do this. I've already signed up for Fall classes and I'm enjoying my time off with my family before I start juggling school and work again.

What a man...
So, I've been busy with school, work, kids, and even more so...this shower for Abigail. I've invested so much time that I 've neglected my studies a bit. I worked last night and made sure I got up early enough to work on my school and get together Abigail's stuff for her shower. When I walked into the living room after my nap from work, I saw this...
How sweet is that? He watched the kids all morning and was still offering to help me with my homework! I didn't take him up on his offer and let him sleep, but how awesome is that? My husband is an awesome man! :)

Another Update
I'm sure if you all thought I fell off the face of the earth, but I assure you, I'm still here!! I started college on August 22nd, so between going to class, homework, kids, housework, husband work (lol), and our side business, I have been one busy momma. Whew! Just writing it all down makes me tired. I'm going to try to keep this blog up though because the kids have already done so many great things that I need to try to blog about so I don't forget!!
First off, we've been working alot at the shop, or shall I say Dusty has. I do the designing and the sign/banner part of the biz, but Dusty does the real work like screen pritinting with his dad, embroidery, and uniforms. Poor daddy hasn't had a day off in ages. I'm thinking of doing something special for him real soon. Here's a few of our projects we've been working on...
Like I said, the kids have been busy being sweet little boo boos. Noah has his own "big boy" bed, but he has only slept in it a few times. Poor fellow is afraid of the dark, but he'll take naps in it with now problem. :)
We've been having popcorn and movie nights...
Nanny gave Livi some clothes and there were two pair of the same pants, so we were joking around and put a pair on Bub and we got a little silly.
Daddy has been having to get to get the kids ready for school, and you always know when he dresses them. Too funny.
I love waving to my little one's and their daddy, but it's so sad to see them drive away without me.
Look at that smile!!! So handsome. (We told him to say chicken nuggets and that's the smile we got...he loves chicken nuggets!)
We've been reading to Noah and he's really starting to get into it!
With the weather being so hot, we've had to strip it all off and have popcicles (the kids of course...they're so lucky). We've been hoping for rain because we're starting to have a lot of fires. Getting a little close for comfort. :(
Here's a few video moments over the past month...You're in for a real treat.
This is of the kids dancing. On Saturday mornings we start the morning off with breakfast in the living room (usually fruit loops in a bowl with a side of milk...less messy that way) and we watch the VH1 top 20 count down. This particular morning, Livi kept turning the tv off. Notice that Bub says a bad word after Livi turns the tv off the first time. This is a new habit of his...goodness gracious.
This one is of Livi getting down. She can really "drop it". (Please divert your eyes from the dirty carpet...it really needs cleaned).
We had went to Daniel Boone's and Livi really was acting up. I was pretty amused by it. Glad there wasn't alot of people in the restraunt. Bub wasn't amused by it at all and kept telling her to shut her mouth.
This is Bub getting jiggy with it.
I love the way Livi says "NO". I tried to get her on video and this was the best I could do. So stinkin cute.

Long time no see
So, it's been a little while since I blogged, but don't worry, I've got a recap for ya. I've been busy, busy trying to get things ready to start college this fall semester. In my usual procrastinating style, I waited till the last minute to register for college. So I have been scrambling to try to get all my paper work together, but I did it!! I officially start college on August 22nd!!! If you didn't know, I'm going to be a nurse!!! I'm super excited. My hopes are to work in Labor and Delivery or NICU. Clinicals might change my mind, but for now, birthing babies is my passion. I just love the thought of bringing a baby into this world. It's such a miricle.
So now for the recap...
We finally went to the Great East Texas Balloon Race in Longview. I have always wanted to go, but it's always so hot and seemed so far away. But since we have little ones now, I just knew they would be in awe at the whole thing. We spent about $30 on fair food then settled down in the field with tons of other spectators.
It was so HOT, but as soon as the ballons started going up, they blocked the sun and made it so much better!! Sadly, Noah and I got ate up by ants, but it didn't stop us from being super excited over the balloons.

When the sun finally set, all the ballons that hadn't already been put up, went up. It was a site. We were right in the middle of the field, so all around us were awesome balloons!! A few times, the Wells Fargo ballon which was massive, kept sinking on one side and scared the heck out of some kids. We were pretty close and a few times I thought we were gonna have to pick up and run because it got really low. Thankfully, just in the nick of time, it would go back up. Maybe they did it for show? It was funny none the less. (If you'll look at the pic below, you can see how far it would dip down).
It was past the kids bedtime, so they were both lounging on the sleeping bag and in the stroller. It was a blast. I was so sad that when the balloon glow started, my camera ran out of battery, so I wasn't able to capture it on film. It was simply amazing. Oh well, maybe next year. Here's a video of what a balloon glow looks like in case you've never been.
