With it getting cool, that can only mean one thing.....
IT'S SLEEPER WEATHER!!!
There's nothing I love more than putting a baby in a sleeper outfit. They just look so darn cute!

A nice stroll
Fall is upon us!! Oh this weather is so nice! We've been trying to go outside more because it isn't hot, so when the kids get home from daycare, we take them for a stroll. I love our new routine and I think Noah is getting fond of it too. He loves running ahead of us and picking up sticks and rocks. He has this cute little thing that he does when he sees a bug...I've told him that he needs to STOMP those bugs when he sees them, so he will go up to a bug and with his heel, he tries to stomp it. He never does actually kill the bug, but it's funny to watch him try. Livi just relaxes and enjoys the ride. I love my little family!!!

Old Friends Dinner
Well, I sent out like twenty facebook invites for an "Old Friends Dinner" to the people I used to work with at Rusk State Hospital, but only the usual suspects showed up. It was a blast though. I kinda felt out of place because Chuck and Diane were doing their usual dinner table arguing and having a phylisophical conversation with Floyd, plus I didn't really have anything to talk about, but Alea made me feel comfortable...she always does. She is one of the sweetest people I know. Dusty and I had the kids with us, and like an awesome husband, he coralled Noah while I visited. We ended up wearing our cowboy jerseys, but it was because I hadn't done the laundry for the week. Isn't that a shame? Sometimes I get so caught up with playing with the kids, blogging, or messing with my pictures, that I don't get around to doing laundry. Shame, shame, huh? But I just wanted to add that little tid bit because we don't normally dress like twinkies.
Haunches
Olivia is starting to rear up on her little haunches and try to crawl. She's pretty much there. She rocks back and forth and propels herself forward in order to get her little hands on toys. She's growning up so fast!

Big Boy
Noah is looking more and more like a boy and less like a baby. He is getting so big. This is one of my favorite pictures of him so far.

Fun Sunday
I made breakfast for us this morning. Noah loves biscuts with jelly. I give him sugar free strawberry jelly and he loves it. I have to admit that he probablly eats more of the jelly than the biscut.
Livi loo sat in her bumbo as usual and talked and blowed rasberries. Gosh I love that baby!
When we put Livi down for a nap, we took Noah outside for a water balloon fight. We figured it would probably be the last time we'd be able to do it before it got too cold out. Noah had a blast. The only problem was that we played where we had flowers, but they died, so it was just dirt and we kinda made a mess. Water balloons + Dirt = Mud....not the best place to have a water balloon fight, but it was great. He was so angry when we ran out of ballons, but do you know how hard it is to fill up twenty of those suckers??? To keep him from having a tantrum, I took him in afterwards and made him a bubble bath....it works every time. He loves water. I think he was a merman in a past life!

Rock the Block
Since having kiddos, Dustin and I have been trying to be a little more active and take the kids out to do things when we have the chance. I got off work and went straight to bed so that I could wake up at 11:00 and go to the Block Party down the road. We got there and they had a band which was warming up, free popcorn and hotdogs, a bounce house and tunnel, snow cones....you get the picture. It was put on by a group here in the area that doesn't have a church yet, so they were trying to get the word out that they were looking for new members. I took the card, but Dusty and I don't go to church. We should, but we haven't found a church that we both like. We've been talking though and we need to get in church somewhere that we both agree on. We'll see.
Noah wasn't that interested in the bounce house, but he ate the chips and hot dog up! We forgot the stroller, so we ended up carrying Livi and it was hot. We listned to the band for a while, but we ended up leaving pretty soon. I guess Noah is still too young to venture too far from home. I think he would be okay if he were more social, but he's our little shy baby for now.

Too young?
Whenever Dustin's mom and dad get Noah for a few hours every other Saturday, his dad likes to draw little bugs on Noah's hands. It is just the cutest thing. I guess when Dusty was little he did it with him too. Not only does it calm Noah down, it also is a fun memory to have of his grandpa. Anyhow, I saw a marker on the floor and I thought I'd make my mark on Noah. He sat so still and it was fun, but afterwards, he kept trying to get it off, which was hilarious. I guess he had tattoo remorse! I don't normally do this kind of thing, but I thought it would be fun to see him with a tattoo! :)
