A new haircut

So, one of my favorite things to do is pick the kids up from daycare and see the looks on their faces. Today, we got the kids out early so we could take Noah to the local barbershop for a much needed haircut.

We got to the barbershop and had to wait in line and Noah seemed to be in a pretty good mood....

That is until his turn came and I put him up in the barber chair. He started throwing a fit. We tried to calm him down with a lolly pop, but that didn't work either. Finally I had to sit down too and hold him in my lap. It calmed him down, but that didn't stop him from crying.

After it was all done, we gave him another lolly pop and he was all smiles in the car on the way to the park.

We had a good ol time at the park. I can't tell you how much I love these little babies!! They are my life. :)

Dinner and Entertainment

We went to eat at our favorite mexican food place last night and got dinner and a show! We gave Livi a lemon and she was making some sour faces, but eventually she took the lemon away from us because she liked it so much. I can't believe I got it on video!

Saturday Fun

We went garage selling this morning to look for Livi some clothes  because she doesn't have many clothes(yes, she's in the outfit from the party last night). I ended up getting a trycicle for Bub which I talked them down to five dollars from ten dollars by the way....what a deal!

Somehow we ended up in Tyler and saw a little park that belonged to a school. We saw other people going in the gate, so we thought we'd see what it was all about. It was awesome. They had two big jungle jims that had slides and stairs...Noah was in heaven. He has gotten so brave which is majorly scary. I almost had a heart attack when he started going up the slide the wrong way. But we didn't manage to get any broken bones and we had a good time. It was a blast. We have a new place now and I'm sure Noah can't wait to go back! :)

Granny is 85!

Tonight the family all got together for a fish fry to celebrate Dustin's Granny's 85th birthday! It was a lot of fun. Noah was a trip and I tried to get him on video, but everytime I picked it up, he'd stop being silly. He was all over the place, dancing and cutting up. We think it was from the tea he got after he came back inside. Shame, shame daddy! We played pool, ate fish, finished up with brownies, and had a good ol time. Happy birthday Granny!!!

Burds!!!

Noah is such a cutie. I absolutely love the way he is starting to talk and I love how he pronounces his words. He loves birds and there was a flock of black birds that came thru the yard and so we went outside to look at them. Noah was estatic. I filmed it and it is hilarious. Instead of birds, he says "BURDS". Gosh I love that baby. Sorry it's sideways, but you get the idea! :)

Makin' Brownies

After working four days in a row, I thought I'd make a home cooked meal, complete with BROWNIES!! Noah had a fun time helping me make them and loved sticking his spoon in the batter. I have always wanted a little helper in the kitchen and now I have one. What a sweetie!

Anyone up for a game of Cards??

Dusty and I played cards one night and accidently left them out and the kids got ahold of them. Livi loved playing with the ten of hearts and would not put it down. She just carried it around with her everywhere. I thought it was cute, so I took a picture. Oh and by the way, her teeth are growing in nicely! See that one big white one on the bottom? What a doll.

1st Annual W.C.B.K. Party!!

So the other night, a few of us girls at work got together for the 1st annual W.C.B.K. Party aka Wine, Cheese, Balderdash, Karokee Party!! It was great. I got there a little early to help my friend (as well as the host for the night) cut the cheese. Yes...we cut cheese together and it was great. Finally everyone showed up and we had a blast. People were laughing, singing, just having a good ole time. I had a great time because I hadn't been out with the girls in forever, so I might or might not have drank a little bit too much, but it was all good fun. Since it was wine, we were joking that we were a "refined" drunk. Here's a few pictures of me and the girls.
